About Us

Who was St. Andrew?

What’s the Good News?

Deacon Gary Schantz recently led a pilgrimage of fathers and sons to the infamous prison called the “Alcatraz of the South,” Angola Prison. More than two dozen parishioners participated. Read more about their experience here.

The community is invited to our annual “Taste of St. Andrew” on Saturday, August 23 from 6:00pm-9:00pm in the Family Center. Dishes will be served buffet style, dinnerware will be provided and the kitchen will be available for warming your dish only. All are invited and bring a friend.  Contact Chuck Langgood at clanggood@szabo.com or call 770-992-8386 and let us know what you plan to bring.

Communications Ministry Needs You!

St. Andrew is instituting an exciting new ministry to organize and facilitate our parish communications efforts.  The Parish Communications Ministry will serve to keep our own church community informed of the exciting things going on here at St. Andrew, as well as provide out-reach to local media and community members outside of our church. We need writers, website content editors, photographers, translators, public relations specialists, social media gurus and graphic designers.  All ages and experience levels needed! If you have a demanding schedule, this is a ministry that will accommodate any amount of time you can offer.  This is a fantastic opportunity for our talented parishioners. Please attend our first parish meeting on Thursday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the RCIA Room to see how you can contribute your time and talent. Contact Lisa Regan at lisar7154@gmail.com if you are interested in helping with this important ministry. Thank you for your support!
